If you're scrambling for decor ideas for the Christmas table this year, here's a quick update you can make that's not too much of a fuss. It's currently trending on Tiktok and I've given it a go.
It's called the Snow Globe Drink. It can be done with all glass shapes and will add some festive character to your water or clear bubbly. It's fun and simple enough to do with the kids or even your husband ;P
1. Grab a cute glass, a stem of rosemary, a bit of string and some sticky tape. The original Tiktok added a few cranberries to the bottom but I decided to use round & star sprinkles.
2. Trim the top of the rosemary with scissors to form a clear Christmas tree shape. Then place the rosemary in the glass and secure in place with tape or string & tape like I've done in the photos below.
3. Fill the glass with water till it covers the bottom of the rosemary. The water, once frozen will lock the rosemary in place. At this point, you can add cranberries or orange peels. I've kept one tree clear to decorate later and added a bit of honey to the other and stuck on some round colour sprinkles
4. Place the glass with rosemary into the freezer (carefully) for 3 hours till completely frozen.
5. Remove from freezer, wipe down the chilled or frosted glass. Add the last bits of decor to your tree. Then pour in your water or bubbly and enjoy!
Remember: This works best with clear or sparkling drinks
